Young emerging entrepreneurs in Vhembe District Municipality will reap what they have sown during the awards giving ceremony to be held on the 22nd of June 2012 at 18hrs, Thohoyandou Town Hall in Thulamela Local municipality.

The purpose of the competition is to cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship, to support, to empower and to invest in the youth who stood up and participate in the economic development of our country.

The competitors will be awarded on three categories namely; Agriculture, Tourism and Enterprise Development.

The first prize winners in each category will be awarded a trophy and an amount of R150 000, second prize winner will receive an amount of R75 000 and the third prize winner will receive an amount of R30 000 respectively in all the sectors.

The competition started in 2008 and it concentrates only on young entrepreneurs who practice their businesses within the jurisdiction of Vhembe District Municipality.

The Theme for the competition: "Youth working together to build a united country for all".

The participants should be 35 years of age or younger during the closing date of entries on the 08th of June 2012.

Those who wish to participate should collect entry forms from Vhembe District LED Offices, SEDA Offices, LIBSA Offices, Makhado Information Centre and all four Local Municipalities. (Makhado, Musina, Thulamela, Mutale)
